October Update

Dear Millcroft Neighbour,

Conservation Halton is inviting residents to attend a virtual meeting regarding Millcroft's Appleby Creek and Sheldon Creek, and related flooding issues. This meeting, taking place on October 14th, will discuss a third-party review by world-renowned environmental consulting and engineering firm, Wood. Wood is the same company the City of Burlington has hired to review Millcroft Greens' stormwater management proposal.

Your attendance at this meeting is crucial to engaging Conservation Halton in our efforts to combat Millcroft Greens' development application and provides an opportunity to share feedback with relevant stakeholders. To register for this public engagement session, please visit: <FIXED> https://www.conservationhalton.ca/east-burlington-flood

Over the next several weeks, every household in Millcroft will receive a small information package from M.A.D., which will include a copy of the wet-ink petition for residents to sign and return to a member of the M.A.D. team. As a reminder, the wet-ink petitions will be presented to the Ontario Legislature in the petition format required by the provincial government, and will supplement the thousands of online petitions that evidence the strength of the opposition within this community and beyond.
