Breaking News on Millcroft development from Angelo Bentivegna Ward 6 on September 10, 2025

In view of the concerns that I have received from residents regarding some contradictering various media versions here is my statement. At this time, The applicant is in the process of satisfying conditions outlined in their pre-servicing agreement, specifically those related to private tree removals. Until these conditions are met, the City’s Order to Cease Work will remain in effect., and it is currently difficult to provide a definitive timeline for when construction activity may begin on-site.

The applicant must fulfill all existing and any amended pre-servicing agreement conditions before proceeding with any work. As the City receives further updates from the developer and additional permits are approved, this information will be made available to the public through the Ward 6 project’s webpage.
