Virtual Pre-Application Meeting for Salotto Building Group Inc. Proposed Development at 4375 Millcroft Park Dr. on Sept. 23

Salotto Building Group Inc. is hosting a virtual pre-application community meeting to present a Draft Plan of Subdivision for a vacant lot located at 4375 Millcroft Park Drive.

The builder proposes to construct 30 single-detached dwelling homes, introducing a new 18m public road in a crescent shape, with two access points on Millcroft Park Drive.

The proposal is consistent with the City of Burlington’s Official Plan and meets the City’s Zoning By-Law, currently zoned as R3.2. As a result, no Official Plan Amendment or Zoning By-Law Amendment is required (unlike Millcroft Greens’ application).

No development application has been submitted to the City of Burlington at this time and the City has not made any decisions on this proposal. A virtual Pre-Application Community meeting has been scheduled to gain valuable feedback from the local community on the proposed development.

The Salotto project will mark the third development application currently proposed in the Millcroft community (along with Millcroft Greens and Branthaven). As M.A.D. is only against bad development, we do not yet have sufficient information to take a stance on this project; however, we acknowledge residents’ concerns about the collective effect these three projects will have on traffic, dust, and debris, the environment, and more.
