The City of Burlington is looking for feedback on proposed Tree Protection and Enhancement Guiding Principles and a Private Tree Bylaw update. Your input is needed. A virtual public info session is planned for Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. and an online survey is open now until Nov. 5, 2021. A healthy urban forest improves the quality of life for City of Burlington residents. By providing a framework for protection and enhancement of all trees on public and private property, the City of Burlington’s urban forest will continue to grow with the goal to reach 35 per cent tree canopy cover by 2041.
