For me the home is more than just walls—it’s where families grow, neighbors look out for each other, and kids play safely in green spaces. Millcroft is a community built on these values, but now it’s under threat. This reckless development will take away what makes this neighborhood special, straining our roads, schools, and services while paving over the green spaces that keep our air clean and our community livable. That’s why I’m standing with Millcroft families to protect our home.
Burlington City Council and residents have made their voices clear: they do not want this development. Yet, the Conservative provincial government has chosen to ignore them. This Conservative government has the power to stop this, but they refuse to act. Instead of protecting the families who live here, they’ve stood by while an unelected tribunal makes decisions that put developers' profits ahead of our community’s needs
This is not how the government should work. We need MPPs who truly stand up for people—not just show up for photo ops and empty promises.
If I have the honor of representing our community, I will do more than just raise concerns—I will take real action:
I will fight to ensure developments like Millcroft Green don’t set a dangerous precedent for bulldozing our communities’ green lungs. Green spaces are not just "extra land" to be paved over; they are vital for our health and well-being.
I will work to restore real power to municipalities so that decisions about our communities are made by our communities—not by developers and tribunals. No one should wake up one day and find that their neighborhood is being reshaped without their say.
I will push for real action, demanding that the province use the tools at its disposal—like an MZO—to stop this development and protect Millcroft for the families who call it home. The current Conservative government has had every opportunity to act, yet they’ve chosen to do nothing.
I refuse to accept that this is just “how things are.” Our community is worth fighting for. Our kids deserve clean air, safe streets, and the right to grow up in a place that values green space over concrete. The people in power now have had their chance to act, and they didn’t. It’s time for change. PEOPLE OVER PROFITS.
This isn’t just politics—it’s about our home, our families, and our future. I’m not just a candidate; I’m your neighbor, and I care about this community as much as you do. I’m ready to stand up and fight for us.
